Emotionally drained we arrived in Paris. The autumnal sunshine slowly cleared our heads allowing the city to weave its magic spell on us. A First Class Indian Adventure Part 2: An Executive Wake Up Call for the Markets of Mumbai

We arrived in Mumbai in the middle of the night and our gentle drive left us unprepared for what followed. Our short stay felt like like travelling through 150 years of history in just 24 hours: A luxurious gaze over the Queen’s Necklace from our spacious hotel suite gave way to the manual industry and thrift of Chor Bazaar, the Gothic Colonial past of Churchgate and its final retreat at the Gateway to India in Colaba. The decaying Art Deco Modernism of Marine Drive or a stroll by the green and brown tufted grass of the Oval Maiden. We realised we had barely scratched the surface and still found a city containing a multitude of surprises, beliefs and ways of life.
